Beyond AI 研究推進機構サイエンスカフェは、基礎研究（中長期研究）の研究リーダーとモデレーターとの対談の形式により、一般の方の質問に答えながら、研究内容の社会発信を試みます。研究リーダーのそれぞれの研究が、AIを通して、どのように進展してゆくのか、また、その進展の向こう側で、その研究の成果が社会とどのような関わりを持つかなどについて毎回テーマを設定して、発信してまいります。
第7回 Beyond AI 研究推進機構サイエンスカフェは、研究プロジェクト「AI自体の進化」において、量子ゆらぎから天の川銀河の形成史の解明を通じたAIの進展をテーマに研究を進める理論物理学者、村山斉教授（東京大学 国際高等研究所カブリ数物連携宇宙研究機構）をお迎えしました。「どうして宇宙は今の姿になったのか？」をテーマに村山先生がAI研究やその応用・未来を語っています。

テーマ：どうして宇宙は今の姿になったのか？
講 師：村山 斉（東京大学 国際高等研究所カブリ数物連携宇宙研究機構・教授）
The Institute for AI and Beyond Science Café is a video series organized by the Institute for AI and Beyond. Various topics related to research are widely disseminated to society in the form of conversations between research leaders of basic research (medium- to long-term research) and a moderator. Each event will have a different theme, such as how AI will advance the research of each speaker and how the results from that research will be relevant to society in the future.
In the 7th Institute for AI and Beyond Science Café, we were glad to welcome Professor Hitoshi MURAYAMA of Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (Kavli IPMU) of the University of Tokyo, a leading theoretical physicist conducting research on New developments in AI through study of evolution of the Milky Way from initial quantum fluctuations to its assembly in the research project "Advancement of Fundamental AI" . In the video, Professor Murayama talked with moderator about AI research, its applications, and its future.

第1回 ML@HEPワークショップを開催しました The 1st ML@HEP Workshop was held on July 8,9, 2022.
中長期研究の田中純一教授（研究プロジェクト：複合AIにおける問題解決手法）を中心とした研究グループが、7月8日~9日、第１回ML@HEPワークショップを開催しました。

「体の外でヒトの脳に似た神経回路を作って、機能させることが目標です。培養した細胞が本来持っている神経回路を作る能力を発揮させて脳のような組織ができたら、機能を持つようになるのでしょうか」
In the 6th Institute for AI and Beyond Science Café, we were glad to welcome Associate Professor Yoshiho IKEUCHI of the Institute of Industrial Science of the University of Tokyo, a leading researcher conducting research on understanding human brain through constructing organoid circuit tissues in the research project "Integrating Brain Science and AI".
In the video, Dr. Ikeuchi talked with a moderator about AI research, its applications, and its future in a format that answers questions solicited from the public.
