Beyond AI 研究推進機構サイエンスカフェは、基礎研究（中長期研究）の研究リーダーとモデレーターとの対談の形式により、一般の方の質問に答えながら、研究内容の社会発信を試みます。研究リーダーのそれぞれの研究が、AIを通して、どのように進展してゆくのか、また、その進展の向こう側で、その研究の成果が社会とどのような関わりを持つかなどについて毎回テーマを設定して、発信してまいります。
第８回 Beyond AI 研究推進機構サイエンスカフェは、認知発達ロボティクスを専門とし、研究領域「AIと社会」において、AI×発達障害当事者研究：計算論的神経科学による認知個性の顕在化をテーマに研究を進める長井 志江 特任教授（東京大学 国際高等研究所 ニューロインテリジェンス国際研究機構）をお迎えしました。「障害？それとも個性？」をテーマに長井先生がAI研究やその応用・未来を語っています。

The Institute for AI and Beyond Science Café is a video series organized by the Institute for AI and Beyond. Various topics related to research are widely disseminated to society in the form of conversations between research leaders of basic research (medium- to long-term research) and a moderator. Each event will have a different theme, such as how AI will advance the research of each speaker and how the results from that research will be relevant to society in the future.
In the 8th Institute for AI and Beyond Science Café, we were glad to welcome Project Professor Yukie NAGAI of International Research Center for Neurointelligence (IRCN) of the University of Tokyo, an expert of Cognitive Developmental Robotics, conducting research on AI x Tojisha-Kenkyu: Computational Neuroscience for Systematic Understanding of Cognitive Individuality in the research area "AI and Society”. In the video, Professor Nagai talked with moderator about AI research, its applications, and its future.
