Real Data Analysis Competition Presentation
東京大学とソフトバンクのBeyond AI連携事業の一環として、ソフトバンク(株)（およびトレジャーデータ(株)・ヤフー(株)等のグループ会社）を受入先企業とする東京大学グローバル・インターンシップ・プログラム（UGIP）【Real Data Analysis Competition】の最終イベントである成果発表会を10月22日（金）に実施いたしました。
本プログラムは、日・米・欧・アジアで企業向けデータマネジメントプラットフォームを提供するグローバルAI企業"トレジャーデータ"と、国内最大級のポータルサイトを有し様々なAI・ビッグデータ活用サービスを展開する"Yahoo! JAPAN"の提供のもと、データ分析のコンペにチャレンジする企画でした。 "Yahoo! JAPANの人流データと検索データを使用した指定地点の人流予測”に取り組み、予測精度等を競うプログラムとして実施されました。
成果発表会ではソフトバンク(株)によるデータ分析初学者向け解説やデータ分析コンペで優秀賞を受賞した7名の学生によるプレゼンテーション、トレジャーデータ(株)・ヤフー(株)による全体講評などを実施しました。優秀賞受賞者によるプレゼンテーションは非常にレベルが高く、質疑応答も活発に行われ、大いに盛り上がりました。

As a part of the Beyond AI collaboration project between the University of Tokyo and Softbank, the final event of the University of Tokyo's Global Internship Program (UGIP) [Real Data Analysis Competition], in which Softbank Corporation (and its group companies including Treasure Data Corporation and Yahoo Japan Corporation) is the host company, was held on Friday, October 22.
This program was a data analysis competition sponsored by Treasure Data, a global AI company that provides a data management platform for companies in Japan, the U.S., Europe, and Asia, and Yahoo! Japan, one of Japan's largest portal sites and a provider of various AI and big data services.Yahoo! Japan's human flow data and search data were used to predict the human flow at designated points, and the program was conducted as a competition for prediction accuracy.
At the results presentation, SOFTBANK Corp. provided explanations for beginners in data analysis, presentations were made by the seven students who won the Excellence Award in the data analysis competition, and Treasure Data Corp. and Yahoo Japan Corp. provided general comments. The presentations by the prizewinners were of a very high level, and there was a lively question-and-answer session that generated a lot of excitement.
